The Greek Community awards high achieving VCE students
 The Greek Community held their annual Christmas Party and Student Award Presentation on Wednesday 21st December. High achieving students, teachers of Modern and Ancient Greek, parents, the Board of Management, members and friends of the organisation were present to congratulate the students on their hard work and exceptional results in Greek and their VCE.
Four students from the Greek Community Afternoon/Saturday Schools and two from Alphington Grammar achieved scores of over 40 for the subject of Modern Greek.
Mr. Theo Markos, the Education Co-ordinator welcomed all those present and expressed his gratitude to the teachers and principals of the Community’s afternoon schools and Alphington Grammar. He noted that this function is not only for students of the Community’s schools but also encompasses those who excelled in both Greek and Ancient Greek throughout Victoria.
