The Hellenic Medical Society of Australia (HMSA) is hosting an open public seminar on depression at the Greek Centre, on Sunday 24 July, at 5:00pm.
A panel of top health professionals of our community, including Arthur Kokkinias, Nick Roubos, Ria Zergiotis and Peter Kyriakoudis, will explain in detail what is depression and how it is treated.
Psychiatrist Dr Arthur Kokkinias will discuss what depression is and general practitioner Dr Nick Roubos will explain what our GP doctor can do to help. Also, psychiatrist Dr Ria Zergiotis will discuss the medical treatments available and psychologist Dr Peter Kyriakoudis the psychological treatments available for depression.
At the conclusion of the presentation the audience will have a unique opportunity to ask questions to the panel.
The seminar is open to the public, suitable for all ages with Greek interpretation.
