Students of the Creative Drama and Arts Centre (CDAD) of the Greek Community of Melbourne successfully presented two plays on Sunday 4 December, at the Greek Centre.
The first was an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's play "The Emperor's New Clothes" which was performed by the Oakleigh campus students and directed by Katerina Poutachidou. The second was a performance by the CDAD adult group of the Oakleigh campus directed by Stathis Grapsas.
Βoth performances attended by the Coordinator of the Education Office of the Greek Consulate Dr. Georgia Nicolaidou, the GCM’s Vice President and Education Convenor Mr Theo Markos, the GCM Board Member and member of the GCM’s Education Committee Dr. Nikos Dallas, the principal of GCM’s Greek Language Schools Mr. Manos Tzimpragos and the president of Modern Greek Teachers' Association of Victoria Mrs. Maria Dikaios.
All students and parents were impressed with both performances.
