Our schools continue online

It appears that normality as we once knew it is still a long way away. So therefore we have to adapt and accept what is now the new norm as the Covid pandemic continues.

Our main priority, not only as the Greek Community, but as members of the wider Victorian community, has been the safety of our vulnerable and, of course, our children.

We have therefore decided that online teaching will continue into term Three. We understand that the challenge of term two was handled well by both students and teachers.

And proof of the pudding was the high attendance rate in nearly every virtual class.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank parents who went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that the program was run successfully.

And of course, it goes without saying, that the professionalism of our teachers was exemplary and they, too, deserve to be congratulated for their commitment and passion.

I urge you to continue supporting your children during this difficult period so as to ensure a successful learning regime for the rest of the year.

And above all, I ask you to stay safe and well connected with your loved ones in τhese unprecedented times.
