On this day, we proudly remember OXI Day, a defining moment in Greek history. On October 28th, 1940, the Greek people bravely said “OXI” (No) to oppression and defended their freedom with courage and unity. This powerful stand became a symbol of resistance and dignity for nations around the world.
Today, we honour the heroes who fought for liberty, the sacrifices made for peace, and the enduring spirit of determination that continues to inspire Greeks everywhere.
