“There's nothing to beware here – this is a charmer that delights on all fronts.” Urban Cinefile

Incredibly popular Greek TV personality Lakis Lazopoulos stars as two polar-opposite twin brothers in this cheeky romantic comedy about a cross-continental vendetta that goes terribly wrong.

When some elderly Cretans in Melbourne recognise prosperous businessman Vassilis (Alexis Anthopoulos), they ignite a personal vendetta from 1943 that saw grandmother Maria (Tasso Kavadia) vow to avenge the killing of her husband. Now that she’s an old yiayia, the task falls on the shoulders of her grandsons – one a mild-mannered schoolteacher, the other a macho lout.

Leave your high brows at the door and expect oodles of fun, silly stuff here – combined with some stunning imagery of Crete – lots of shooting, hiding under beds, crunching testicles and ogling of the sexy neighbour.

Presented by Kritamos Hellenic Cuisine.

Join us for Cretan treats following the film. All tickets $28.
