The Greek History and Culture Seminars enter their tenth year.

altThe Greek History and Culture Seminars offered by the Greek Community of Melbourne enter their tenth year. The success and appeal of the Seminars in the Greek and Australian communities exceeded all expectations and precedents.

Even the academics who gave lectures were impressed with the program of the seminars, Academics who gave lectures admitted that the seminar program is of a much higher standard than the ones offered by universities.

Rich in interesting lectures by academics and experts in various fields is this year's Seminar Program, which has just been announced and can be viewed on the Community's website at: greekcommunity.com.au/seminars

The Seminars are offered free of charge by the Community with the financial support of organizations and individuals. If you would like to contribute to this endeavor, you can choose one or more lectures from the 2020 Seminar Program and offer $ 100 per lecture. Donation money is used to cover the operating expenses of the Seminars.

This year the Seminars will begin on Thursday, March 5, at 7pm at the Greek Center. The first lecture will be given by Professor Tim Parkin from the University of Melbourne. His topic will be the Colossus of Rhodes.
