The GCM Elections for a New Board of Directors Has Been Called

The Greek Community of Melbourne (GCM) elections for a new Board of Directors has been called.
The Electoral Committee of the GCM would like to inform you that the elections will be conducted as per the following details:
DATE Sunday 29 June 2025
VOTING TIMES 9AM to 8PM
LOCATION Alphington Grammar, Old Heidelberg Rd Alphington
WHO CAN VOTE
- All financial members who have been members for longer than 6 months. To be a financial member your membership must expire in 2025 or beyond.
- Members whose membership expired in 2024, are eligible to vote once their fee has been paid. You can pay your fees by: · Visiting the membership page on the GCM website: https://www.greekcommunity.com.au/membership · calling 03 9662 2722 during business hours
- Attend in person at the GCM office (168 Lonsdale St Melbourne)
- attending In person at the election on 29 June.
MEMBERS WHOSE MEMBERSHIP EXPIRED IN 2023
At the recent AGM, the meeting passed a motion which allows members whose membership expired in 2023 (and therefore are not active members), to renew for 2025. These members are provided with an opportunity to become active members once again by paying their subscriptions for 2 years. To do this, you must pay any outstanding member fees for 2024 and 2025:
- by calling 03 9662 2722 during business hours
- Attend in person at the GCM office (168 Lonsdale St Melbourne)
- By attending in person at the election on 29 June.
- Please note that online renewal for 2023 Members is not available.
